in my mind, i was laughing... you are asking a dummy about love... sorry dear, i'm not in the position to answer that wisely as i never had any experience on love before... if there is a book "love for dummies", i might buy it... =P
so, what's your stand?
for me, for couples who started their relationship with "jarak dekat" style; seeing each other like everyday or everyweek (in other word, OFTEN), when they are destined to be far apart physically, the closure may break apart little by little....
This may has been the minority of what are happening these days... and i've seen where the bond are much stronger when they are apart... this is just a matter of opinion, a theory that might never be true...
like i've said, i'm an ousider when it come to love....

coz ull feel stupid to say how much you love sumone by texting or calling without looking at them.the situation gets worse when they are far apart for a veeeeeeerrrrrrryyyyyyy long period of time.
p/s: this theory won't work on people who are plannin to get married or is goin to get married or people who are married.
it's a matter of perception, i say~
some may not feel stupid by using the tech, they might even feel appreciated because their partners still sacrifice the time to just say "HI"... but i do agree, when they dont meet for a long time, the situatuion may be worse...

yeah.....i do.....i owez got involve in a short term relationship.....due to d tech, thanx to them.....and i dont think saying hi is a big deal or needs sumone to sacrifice their time.....hate it....hate it......

well, in my opinion, maybe some distance can do some good... kalo selalu sgt nmpak muke org tu, muak n menyampah lak nnti...n bile kite jarang jumpe, akan timbul rase rindu n bertambah la kasih syang tu...n if it is true love, surely both people will not cheat...but it's only my opinion...who knows, only God decide
