when someone ask me about my opinion on the PPSMI's change of policy, this is what i think...
this is something that a government should thoroughly think about before making any decision...
this should be applied to all policies...
imagine, millions "ka-ching2" @ $$ have been poured and showered for the sake of the PPSMI-textboooks, laptops, seminars, yada2 & etc2, and suddenly you want to change it back to the BM... why even bother to change it in the first place... speaking of "berjimat-cermat", sigh~ now, millions more needed for the reversal...
and now, some say that we were the guinea pigs or the lab white mice for the PPSMI...
Frankly speaking, i don't mind being one... well, for me lah~
Not having difficulties to understand P&P in english sure gave me a breeze moment in classes and it helps me in college as well... (no need to mind-translate everything)
"er, apa pengamiran dalam English, eh?"
imagine needing to do that every hour in classes...
but, how about those who are having hard times understanding P&P in English?
how do they cope with this PPSMI?
maybe the government revert the policy due to this major problem...
maybe (5x), it's not the time yet for the PPSMI....
need to ensure , first, that all students can at least understand what is happening during the P&P in English...
then, PPSMI can be implemented properly... (will they even think about establishing PPSMI back?)
anyway, why did Tun Mahathir propose this idea?
refer to this...
he had quite strong reasons for it...
and he had shown that his ideas are always fruitful...
well, enough said...
~wishing well for the Malaysian education system~
