the big A

i went to watch AVATAR yesterday with my beloved family members...
i was too curious why the rating on imdb.com was high (8-point-something is high. usually, good movies rate at average seven something...)
i expected a blow-your-mind-out-of-your-head experience,
and it sure did deliver!!!

the movie was awesome...
don't need to analyse much about the plot, character development and all other serious stuffs...
just sit back and immerse into the cameron's imagination and wild adventure...
you will be transported into a new world which they called Pandora and i called full-of-adrenaline excitement!!!

personally, i give overall 10/10....
highly advisable for anyone to watch...

jalan2 cari hiburan~ klcc again (chan, sila jealous)...
pergi bersama2 saudara fikri...
supposely there is another person, tp ada masalah kenderaan (dimaafkan, :P) ...
summary, watched 2 movies (again)...

1)storm warriors
the characters' name were cute; cloud, wind, nameless, etc2...
the fighting scenes were excellent, plus the pusing2 angles of shooting (smart)
the way it depicted some scenes were brilliant, for me (when conquering other martial artists, for example)
but, i hate the plot... sape yg x suka citer hanging, sila jgn tgk...
the malay subtitle was hilarious...
i give around 6/10 (maybe 7 if the story is not hanging)

2)the princess and the frog

i laughed at most of the times >bota pun gelak2 juga, harap maklum<
each character provided unique strength to the story...
the music was fun...
i give around 8/10 ...

i'm waiting for avatar, the rating at imdb.com is quite high... (currently 8.4/10)

on that day, i celebrated the expiry of my student card... > :P <

i went to klcc, just to loosen up a little bit...

in brief, i watched two movies and bought two books...

new moon; many hate it but i like it...

it was much better than twilight with less awkward moments here and there...

at the least, i can feel the emotions of the story rather than irkness of the mushiness of the lines...

yeah, i cannot deny the buffness of taylor lautner a.k.a. jacob black, one of the reason i managed to stay 'alive' throughout the 130-minute movie... >just kidding, i suppose<

personally i would give 5~6 /10 for this movie...

2012; wow~!!

the CGIs were just amazing, i can even forgot that i was having a full bladder throughout the ~3- hour movie, how uneasiness can go away in times of amazement...

who doesn't like to watch everything being ripped apart and washed away? unless it happens to him/herself... >moga dijauhkan<

in my view, this movie should be rated around 7 out of 10...

then, with ample of time left, i went to kinokuniya just for sight-seeing, at first i thought...

with all those good books arounds, how could you not buy any of them...

i wandered around thriller sections; john grisham's section, to be exact...

and i decided to buy the associate...

and alang2 dah sampai kat kedai buku, baik beli dua buku, just in case i get bored and have no intention to go to anywhere to buy books, i bought another one; salahudin ayubi: penakluk jerusalem... i was influenced to buy this book after watching the kingdom of heaven...

the end of my trip, and yeah, it was a tiresome but a very enjoyable day...

BABE~!!!

a word usually used by those two... but, in this very moment, i'm not going write about them... let them be them~~~ :P

i watched this movie entitled "babe" yesterday at star movie... it was about a little pig @ piglet's life in a farm full of various types of animals and they talked... tuptap tuptap, the piglet (babe) became a "sheep pig" <== pig that herd sheep (into @ out of the shed); derived from the word 'sheep dog'...

the piglet strived through all the troubles trying to become 'somebody' in that tiny little world... weird, eh.. i'm writing about a piglet... lalala...

the story managed to hold my attention throughout the 1-hour-plus duration... the piglet was depicted as an innocent and naive creature that just want to be the very best in 'his' life...

just arrived from watching underworld: the rise of the lycan... COOL-a-land!!!... cara cerita agak mudah; boleh agak2 sikit sana sini... but the way it was presented, my eyes just couldn't blink... terkesima dlm keseronokan... had some lighting-overdose-moment to my eyes, however, with all the 'splash-sploosh'es of the swords... nevertheless, it was great... my red money was not wasted.... Not like The Spirit where all that i could understand is to love your city, no more no less... he~!? <== aku pening baca balik perenggan ini... kamu?

kontradiksi idea dalam satu organisasi bukan tanda keretakan, tapi itu tanda pengembangan idea demi kebaikan organisasi itu.... cara dan penerimaan berbeza... kepelbagaian itu menarik, bukan~?

back to underworld... my favourite character is victor... the vicious vampire leader who still can fight a strong young man despite his age... Cool... I also like the flying-without-wing fighting scenes... I was like an electron in an excited state; felt like to fly with the actors... sejak kecil, aku suka bahagian2 yang memaparkan aksi luar biasa (bukan luar tabi'i) manusia... unique yet weird...

kalau ada yang tanya aku "mengapakah encik fareez masih boleh tengok wayang sedangkan kerja kolej (atau kerja sekolah) bertimbun?"...jawapan, "silalah baca buku 24 jam tanpa henti, tanpa tengok tv, tanpa buka laptop; baru kamu boleh tanya kembali soalan itu kepada saya"... lalalala....

another muvee

watched "changeling"... a very good (and a litlle heavy) movie played out by mrs pitt and others... they really played the roles superbly... all the feelings and emotions teramat lah terasa oleh daku (except for some parts, sikit je)... it was about this mama who lost her boy and reported to the police... bad luck for her coz she was dealing with corrupted officers... mainly this movie revolved around these themes; the feeling of lost and conspiracy of the "government"... i felt worried for the mother and developed very deep hatred towards the police organisation... this movie really hit me well (maybe due to the maggi or the late-night environment)... anyway, mantap~~~ rating; 9.5/10...

movies

somehow, i managed to watch two movies today... maybe because of boredom.... however, these movies have enlightened my day a little bit; meaningful messages and quite superb acting... kudos~~~

1) outsourced

it was about a man (todd) who were sent to india to, more less, help his company to increase the sell over there... he succesfully did that and got to understand the meaning of life along the way (with change-people-life events)... i just could sense the magnificent aura from this film.... i would rate this movie 8.5/10...

2) suzanne's diary for nicholas

came across this movie's title from bidin's blog (courtesy)... have quite a strong plot plus the emotion were heavily felt (the happiness and sadness were potrayed well)... quite annoyed with kate sometimes (wanna smack her on the head and back)... all in all, a not-so-boring movie...
rating, 7.5/10...
